OUR STORY

We started Van Vibe as a passion project, sharing a love for travel, design, and a good road trip. After years of exploring Thailand together by van (including a few too many nights crammed into a king-sized bed),
we decided in 2021 to take our experience off the road and into the workshop.

Backed by hands-on knowledge and countless hours of trial, error, and mosquito bites, we set out to build vans that strike the perfect balance between comfort, style, and practicality. Whether you’re chasing sunsets or discovering hidden spots, our vans are designed to take you there, in style.
Because when the road feels like home, every journey becomes a
story worth telling.

Dat Tran

Hi! I’m Dat, born and raised in Norway, with a strong connection to nature and a deep interest in sustainable living.

I’ve worked across a range of industries, but always felt most grounded when outdoors, camping, whilst traveling with my dog. After running into the same challenges many pet owners face while on the road, I became inspired to build campervans. Together with my friend Tommaso, I’m bringing a touch of Scandinavian outdoor living to Thailand, creating practical, comfortable spaces that let you explore freely, without compromise.

Tommaso Valcavi

Hello! My name is Tommaso, and I’m a lifelong adventurer with a deep-rooted passion for travel and discovery.

After years of working in the automotive industry across Southeast Asia, I’ve been fortunate to explore countless destinations, each journey fueling my curiosity for hidden places and sparking new ideas along the way. Blending my industry expertise with a love for exploration, I started a passion project with my friend Dat, built on the idea that your van should feel like home, no matter where the road takes you.
